Life is so beautiful
The temperature was perfect today.
The light outside was muted, just enough cloud cover to lend an ephemeral aura to the whole world. Well, as much of it as I could see. It took my breath away, it was so stunning. How can such a beautiful world have meanness in it?
Aaah, if I had the answer to that. Then what? Would I be able to change it? Probably not. So, I am back where I started; ignorance, maybe, is bliss.
The simple things in life gave me pleasure today: shelling pecans, hanging clean clothes out on the clothesline, showing a friend how to weave, bringing broccoli in from the garden and making soup, preparing a new garden bed, and planting basil. The days are so sweet when you do not have to get into an automobile.
Peace to All
